Providence Strikes Back

Paragraph 6, sentence 4 has a rogue comma attempting to flee its intended position.

Don't worry, I called the police who promptly told the comma that it was drunk and should go home.

provi didnt stay docked? core mustve been online

So some info for you.D-G wont be attacked, they have come to an agreement with NC. After it was captured they continued to hit the station services. NC. got annoyed and sent them screenshots of all their CSAA, talks had and docking rights were secured for any CVA to allow them evac stuff, no one did afik. If they do attack it think the will loose their CSAA and jump bridgesNow the nihilist social club is an interesting one, they current have a contract with PL so they will be involved. They are also a CVA alt corp, the CVA heads have alts and run the corp. There is some major fractures happening in CVA atm and I think with in the next few weeks it will come to a head

yeah both fights where good fun, thnx to nulli and unthinkables! gf dudes

I'm pretty sure N3 wants Provi to survive too.
Avatar
NC. busy running away from Goons in Querious. Go Provi Go! We will rescue you!

Look at the INK NAPOC losses. It's no surprise that they got destroyed when their fittings were all over the place.I mean they lost a comp that was designed to take heavy bomb damage, to bombs.
Avatar
NULL also has cap pilot alts in PL

Unaffiliated HERO F1'r here. You sir are clearly an illiterate moron, tell me who won two out of three fights in the previous article about provi.
Avatar
I got shivers when I saw it, anyone else???
Avatar
In my last article about the fights in providence, 2 out of the 3 battles were won by N3. Yes this article only sited Providence wins because in the last few days that's what has been happening. If you don't like it then go lead N3 to victory in the upcoming fights.
Avatar
Yeah, having been in some of those fights I can confirm that it's pretty awesome for provi :) I've definitely had some of the best fights ever in the 6 years I've played against Nulli recently. Massive respect to an honourable enemy!
Avatar
Yeah, to be fair if they wanted to steam roll Provi they could. We can't face off against their cap and/or super fleets so if they really wanted to take Provi they could. Don't get me wrong, we'd fight to the last ship then play the guerilla warfare game until we annoyed them enough to leave but considering the fights that have been happening and how amazingly awesome they've been I'd say their rhetoric about wanting good fights is probably true.
Avatar
I counted 157 in INK fleet, and additional 40 or so INK bomber fleet is not mentioned much anywhere, so saying INK only had a fleet of 100 is inaccurate. They bombed us as much as we bombed them. At the end of the day, it was a very good fight, Provi and INK each held their ground and fought like demons. People can be as negative as they want to be about this alliance or that alliance, but I salute the capsuleers of INK who stayed and fought. Good fights all around. o7
Avatar
I wouldn't fight to the last ship, no. I'd GTFO. Anything else would be extremely foolish if you know you can't win anyway.
Avatar
There's always discontent in CVA. In fact as far as I know absolutely everyone living in null is discontented, all of the time.
Avatar
Sbrodor is an amazing bomber fc but he fcs only OSSIM bombers. We have other fc's for coalition wide bomber fleets
Avatar
good thing it was white, otherwise it would have been shot.

Please share some of these fits that are "all over the place."
Avatar
so if you can't win you don't fight, gee I wonder why it's so hard to find a fight in Eve these days.....
Avatar
INK actually only had 1 fleet, nulli had 20 bombers it seems but tbh on the battle report they did negligible damage. Mistakes were made on the INK side it seems, FC took the fleet to the provi drone optimal (what!?) and if I'm not mistaken those logi look a lot further from the fleet than they should be at a couple of points...In summary, gudfights all round - I look forward to the next fight video!
Avatar
As we (INK) left our home system we had just over 100 people in fleet. After the fight I heard that Nulli brought some bombers to the fight, not sure how many. Provi was over 200 when we enterred system.
Avatar
Absolutely anything to keep them fighting. Anything.

I faintly seem to recall the proper word being 'Bloc' rather than 'Block' when referring to a political unit. I have noticed this popping up on TMC a lot lately.Shit, people, get your writers together.

Biggest bullshit i ever saw is that they bitch about CVA not giving the R64 moon goo isk to SRP. HAHAHAHAHA....what are the corps from N3 doing with it, they got way more than enough of them in their own space, so i would imagine, they are just being common griefing jimmy jangers. Hahahahahaha...which is the funniest crap ever, as their own blog/news site, bitches about griefer's. I wish this damn game will die already. This game needs to die, its at a point of uselessness. Null sec is dead, and the only fun region is provi, and the provi region does nto get given chance to recoup its losses, therefore just let the damn game die already. Other regions in null sec have become a rotten festering wasteland of filth. All comfortable in their lazy ways, saying its funny to see provi people suffer. Well guess what, its even funnier to watch the whiners complain and whine about null pvp being dead when they made it that way themselves, the stupid gypsy's. JUst kill the game and get it over with. The boredom alone is killing me watching idiot moan about their boredom.
Avatar
Basically that's correct, yes. If my ship, fittings and implants respawned immediately like they do on your average FPS, or if I got SRP then maybe things would be different. Otherwise, no, I spend hours and hours generating the ISK to buy all the things and save for the biggest things of all, for which I have two characters in training at the moment and which will take me probably 2 or 3 years , and I'm not going to blow it up for gudfights.I know... pointless achievements in virtual world are pointless. But still, it's my life leave me the fuck alone!
Avatar
If you *know* you can't win then yes but it depends on your definition of *win*. As far as I'm concerned I'm *winning* if I'm having fun. I've already got all the big ships I want and enough isk to survive at war for a while so the fact we're fighting most of the time and not making isk isn't having much affect on me currently. I know that's not the case for everyone though. If you *win* when you get a super then I can understand why you would run from a fight to save isk. I completely disagree with your standpoint myself though 'cos I'm having the time of my life playing EVE at the moment and have no real use for anything bigger than a cap ship.

Cookies?

That, sir, is some serious vitriol. Are you from Provi? Are you upset we're having amazingly fun fights at the moment? Is your issue that making isk is a tad difficult? If so, I have several suggestions for you: 1) Get in some cheap T1 ships and join the pvp fun2) Head into a WH whilst Provi is scrapping and make some isk3) Go do high sec incursions and make some isk whilst Provi is scrapping4) Go do high sec mining or missioning to make some isk whilst Provi is scrapping.5) Use an alt to do FW to make isk. It's so damned easy.A combination of 1+2/3/4/5 is what I would do personally. There's an overall message here and that is "the grass is greener on the other side". When the pvp is thin on the ground people in Provi complain about a lack of PvP. When we've got it coming out of our ears they complain about a lack of PvE.One word of advice: Adapt.
Avatar
Could start with the guys who had T1 guns, the ones who didn't have an afterburner, or those without t2 plates. Which would you prefer?
Avatar
More like we died because I put us into bouncer optimal, hoped that the S2N bombers might be slightly above useless given their fleet could absorb a lot less of them and did nothing to stop their bomber FC. I should of kept us a lot closer to 0 with conflag and gone nofucksgiven given rep was holding, would of perhaps stopped their bombers.Oh, and every Navpoc lost had an AB fit and I did tell the fleet to overheat dem T1 guns to tank the bombers but it didnt work, plz help I no understando.

The moon in 1-1 was an r32 (go scan it and see for yourself), and was rf'ed for gud fights. Nulli still killed the POS (see dotlan kills), but why would they want to put one up on an R32? They killed the pos and left it to provi. Nulli wasn't trading ishtars for battleships, the battleships were getting owned. The bomb run on the ishtars is what changed the fight.
Avatar
INK. LOL
Avatar
No.
Avatar
Being in the ink fleet I can confirm you are bullshitting. Only 100 were actually in system and BTW we didn't have bombers. That was nulli
Avatar
And yes mistakes were made. Not only by The Fc but also the logi anchor who went too far so for about a minutes no reps were given

Crap Equinox!! We've been discovered!!!The fact that anyone seriously thinks people are building supers in provi (or that anyone would actually think about it) considering the situation the region has been in for the past several months continues to floor me.

youre a nigger lol

On Monday, June 16th, at approximately 9pm EVE time, Nulli Secunda and Provibloc clashed in the system of 1-1I53 in Southern Providence. The source of this fight? A CVA POS had come out of reinforcement, and was rumored to be covering an R64 moon.

Provibloc had already been formed up for over an hour when Nulli Secunda began to form for the upcoming battle. Earlier that night, Providence forces began moving their staging location back to F-YH5B, reversing their relocation to Yong which took place a few weeks ago. This played a significant role in the fight as Provibloc members were able to reship far more easily than Nulli Secunda's.

The fight started off as the Provi fleet waited on the 1-1l53 gate in ZT-LPUCorebloodbrothers (the Provi FC) made the call for pilots to jump in and hold their cloaks. Provi scouts around the POS saw multiple bubbles instantly spring up at the command of Rots Mijnwerker (Nulli Secunda FC). Provi forces waited on the gate for Nulli to come to them; however, they knew that the longer they remained on gate the more likely that Nulli would destroy the POS and claim the valuable moon for their own. As Provibloc landed on grid near the POS they noticed half a dozen Archons and half a dozen Dreadnoughts belonging to Nulli Secunda had already nearly destroyed the POS. Provibloc forces engaged the Nulli fleet and for a while were trading battleships for Ishtars at an even rate. However, Nulli has substantially greater financial resources than Provi alliances do, and trading ships at 50-60% efficiency falls short of what Provi considers to be a "win." Nulli Secunda’s bomber gang warped onto the grid to bomb off sentry drones, in an attempt to reduce the incoming damage to their own fleet. They got caught in bubbles, however, and were taken out in short order. Provi bombers led by Yulai Federation pilot sbrodor caught Nulli Secunda’s Ishtars midway through an MWD cycle and proceed to destroy nearly two dozen of them.  While this was going on, both FCs claim to have been the target of the other’s headshot attempts. With their Ishtar numbers now greatly reduced, Nulli decided to withdraw from the field secure in the knowledge that their objective to destroy the POS was a success.

Shortly after Nulli Secunda’s departure from 1-1l53 a Tactical Narcotics Team Harpy gang camped the remaining Provi forces in system. This oddly worked well for the locals, as they were able to keep enough members in system long enough for their replacement POS to come online without Nulli interference. As both sides headed home and the killboards began to tally up the night’s bloodshed, Provi found themselves on top after killing approximately 13 billion ISK of Nulli Secunda ships. Nulli Secunda only took down 9 billion ISK worth of Provi ships, and owed their limited success in no small part to the sbrodor's successful bombing run.

Fast forward 24 hours. The I-HUB of system 7MD-S1 is minutes away from coming out of its final reinforcement timer, and Providence residents have formed up a fleet of more than 200 pilots. While primarily favouring sentry Battleships and Battlecruisers, they are supported by squads of Bombers and sniping Tornadoes. The Unthinkables, knowing they would be outnumbered, decided to form up a fleet of Navy Apocalypses supported by heavy logistics, numbers numbering around 100 pilots in total. While expensive, this fleet would allow The Unthinkables to face superior numbers on a more equal footing. 7MD-S1 is one of 6 Provibloc systems located in northern Catch; while the system does not have a station, it does have tactical significance as a border system between Providence and Catch.

The fight started off as Provibloc entered system just before the I-HUB came out of reinforcement. While Provi forces sat on the T-RPFU gate, The Unthinkables entered through the ERVK-P gate. Provibloc charged into the spread-out Unthinkables fleet and immediatly dropped all their sentries in the same place. At first, both sides had little success, struggling to break either battleship or logistics tanks. That changed, however, when both sides commenced significant bombing runs. The Provi bombing run was more successful, breaking the rep chain and allowing Provi forces to take down a number of Guardians before beginning to take down Navy Apocolypses. The fight continued for several minutes, with The Unthinkables taking the majority of the losses until a Nulli Secunda bombing gang uncloaked and took out nearly a dozen Provi Battlecruisers. The fight became increasingly one-sided as Provi forces systematically dismantled the Unthinkables fleet while suffering minimal losses.

As The Unthinkables withdrew,  Provibloc warped to the nearest SBU and removed it in short order. They repaired the I-HUB, resetting all of The Unthinkable's work. The Unthinkables claim to have only hit the system to generate "good fights," and by that measure, the battle was certainly a success for Provi forces. As killboards updated, The Unthinkables found themselves on the receiving end of more than 21 billion ISK in damages while Provibloc forces only sustained losses of 5 billion ISK.

The past few days have been positive for Provibloc as they manage to reverse their streak of losses in recent weeks (D-G, G-B, several R64s). There were positives for N3 as well, as they manage to generate more fights. There are currently no active timers in Providence, and it seems likely that Providence alliances will soon move to recapture G-B22J and D-GTMI from Nihilists Social Club and Northern Coalition. respectively.
