NVidia F2P Bundle Offer

Since The Mittani.com has featured articles on HAWKEN, and regularly boasts features on PlanetSide 2 and World of Tanks, this deal seems right at home here. NVidia is offering two bonuses of in-game funds split evenly across all three games with the purchase of graphics cards using the GTX 650 or better chipset until April 30th as long as supplies last. As this is being offered by the chipset manufacturer and not the card manufacturers, the trail of links is somewhat convoluted. The basic method involves following the link above to NVidia's website and choosing the retailer to purchase your card from there. That then takes you to a list of available cards and pricing. Given the diversity of actual card manufacturers, you could be looking at cards ranging from $100 to $1,000 or more, but the in-game cash reward is based on the chipset, not the final bill, so you needn't break the bank just to get a little gold.

After receiving a redemption code, it's back to the NVidia site to claim it. The actual breakdown is a little different given each game's exchange rate but amounts to:

  • 2050 gold, 1 month premium, and invite: 1500 gold for World of Tanks (which, I presume, means an invitation link that will give the recipient 1,500 gold), 2500 Station Cash for PlanetSide 2, and 3600 Meteor Credits in HAWKEN for any redeemed purchases using a GTX 650 or GTX 650Ti chipset.

  • 7500 gold, 1 month premium, and invite: 2500 gold for World of Tanks, 5000 Station Cash for PlanetSide 2, and 7200 Meteor Credits for HAWKEN for any redeemed purchases using the GTX 660 or higher chipset.

While a set bonus in all three titles rather than a larger bonus in only one may be suboptimal for some gamers, they're at least all free-to-play titles. If you're in the market for a new video card, this is probably the best deal you're going to find for in-game tie-ins considering the $75 equivalent bundle can be had for cards costing barely $100.
